Development stages

In 2006, Acron Group, one of the leading mineral fertiliser producers in Russia and globally, established Verkhnekamsk Potash Company (VPC) in Perm Krai to create a potash raw material base for production of complex mineral fertilisers.

In 2008, VPC obtained a licence to develop the Talitsky area of the Verkhnekamsk potassium-magnesium salt deposit (VPMSD) in Perm Krai.
