Verkhnekamsk Potash Company attends Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum
VPC (a member of Acron Group) took part in the Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum, which took place on 4 and 5 December. As in previous years, the Company is as a general partner of the event.
VPC representatives attended business meetings and research-to-practice conferences, communication sessions and panel discussions. They addressed various issues, such as developing industrial cooperation, building technological sovereignty and attracting young specialists to companies in Perm Krai.
Alexander Pupov, VPC CEO, said: ‘The Forum provides a platform for leading experts to discuss future industrial and technological goals. Here, we can share experience, find new solutions and build mutually beneficial relationships. VPC is heading towards a new milestone: we plan to launch potash production in 2026. This will be a significant step forward for our Company and the Perm Krai economy’.
VPC is constructing a potash mine in the Talitsky area of the Verkhnekamsk potassium-magnesium salt deposit in Perm Krai. With a design capacity of 2 million tonnes of potash per year, the mine will create over 2,000 jobs. In 2025, the Company signed an agreement with the Perm Krai administration to address the region’s key social and economic development issues through comprehensive joint efforts. Under this agreement, VPC has already invested RUB 152.5 million in infrastructure and social initiatives and projects in Berezniki, Perm Krai.
