Verkhnekamsk Potash Company joins the federal project Professionalitet

Verkhnekamsk Potash Company (VPC, a member of Acron Group) has joined the federal project Professionalitet by signing a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Education and Science of Perm Krai to establish and develop a training and production centre.

The agreement promotes partnership with leading institutions of secondary vocational education in the region, including Berezniki Polytechnic Technical College, Berezniki Construction Technical College, Solikamsk Mining and Technical College, Solikamsk Technological College and others.

Participation in the education project will enable the company to train its own highly qualified personnel, increase labour productivity and production efficiency, and contribute to improving the situation on the labour market. For its part, the company plans to provide financial support to educational institutions, help improve their material and technical base and training facilities, and organise professional internship programmes for teachers and students.

As part of the Professionalitet project, experienced VPC employees will act as teachers and mentors for working young people. Students will have the opportunity to learn about modern technologies and equipment, as well as the practical skills needed to work in the mineral fertiliser industry. This approach will ensure that professionals are best prepared to meet the demands of modern production.

‘Participation in the Professionalitet project is a first and important experience for our company’, said Elena Dnistryan, Head of the Human Resources Department at VPC. ‘We see it as an opportunity to improve the quality of training of our future employees and to ensure that they meet the high requirements of the modern market. We are confident that participation in the project will benefit both the company and the secondary vocational education system as a whole’.

The federal project Professionalitet is being implemented by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation since 2022 with the aim of improving the quality of training of specialists with secondary vocational education in accordance with the requirements of the modern economy. The project will create educational and production clusters, which will include educational institutions, employers and research organisations.
