VPC Produces First 50,000 m3 of Concrete
This November, Verkhnekamsk Potash Company, an Acron Group company, produced the first 50,000 m3 batch of concrete at its new concrete batching plant at the Talitsky mine. About 21,000 m3 of the product were allocated to construct mine shafts, and 29,000 m3 for various surface facilities of the mine. The plant has capacity of 100 m3 per hour.
In July 2022, VPC commissioned a new modern concrete batching plant with a design capacity of 70,000 m3 of high-quality product. Its intelligent automation control system for precise dosage is the key to quality consistency. Up to three additives (chemical, metallised, and dry mixes) can be used simultaneously to produce specialised complex concretes, such as steel-fibre reinforced concrete or self-compacting concrete.
