Talitsky Project Receives Priority Investment Project Status
Perm Krai Governor Viktor Basargin and the Council on Improving the Investment Climate in Perm Krai have assigned priority investment project status to the Talitsky mining project at the Verkhnekamsk potassium-magnesium salt deposit.
According to Verkhnekamsk Potash Company CEO Alexander Pupov, an agreement signed between VPC and the Agency of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations of Perm Krai will lend the project administrative assistance.
The Talitsky greenfield project is being implemented by Verkhnekamsk Potash Company under Acron Group's investment strategy to develop a potash raw material base in Perm Krai. The project's goal is to create a mine with capacity of 7.45 mn tpa of ore and 2 mn tpa of potassium chloride. The total investment is expected to be USD 2.7 billion, including the cost of the licence.
