Talitsky Mine Well-Guarded
On January 15, guards from Mars Private Security Company took up watch over the Talitsky mine construction site.
Success of any company depends largely on its security.
"Until now, security at the Talitsky construction site was provided by contractors," said Vladimir Yefremov, VPC Deputy CEO for security. "On January 15, Mars Private Security Company took up watch over the Talitsky mine construction site. All the necessary conditions are in place. The security guards have new uniforms; there's electricity, communication equipment, water, a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit, a microwave and an electric tea kettle at the guard post."
Mars will grow along with the Talitsky mining complex. In time, a fence equipped with security cameras and other modern security devices will be installed around the entire construction site and more guards will be hired. The company prefers to hire ex-law enforcement agents, and Mars employees are among the region’s highest paid workers.
Mars Director General Vladimir Safonenko stressed that the backbone of the company is made up of former members of special police forces who received combat experience in USSR hot spots. One of them, Alexander Malinin, holds the Order of Courage and the Medal for Bravery.
Safonenko says that Mars is up to any challenge, from facility access and monitoring to prevention of theft or terrorist attacks.
