VPC Goes to Las Vegas

Acron Group mining specialists will participate in MINExpo International 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

On September 23-28, 2012, mining specialists from Verkhnekamsk Potash Company (VPC)and North-Western Phosphorous Company (NWPC) will take part in the MINExpo International 2012 trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada (U.S.A.). Maxim Vyatkin, director of Berezniki office, and Valery Alekseev, head of the mine engineering department, will represent VPC and Vladimir Zhikharev, deputy master mechanic, and Konstantin Gusev, head of the underground mining area, will participate on behalf of NWPC.

MINExpo exhibits equipment, technologies, components and accessories, as well as methods and services for opencast and underground mining of solid, liquid and gaseous mineral resources. It also features systems for prospecting, drilling, preparation and processing, conveying and transportation of resources, as well as construction of mines and mining infrastructure.

NWPC and VPC representatives were invited to MINExpo by Atlas Copco, the main supplier of underground mining equipment for NWPC. Construction of the underground mine at the Oleniy Ruchey apatite and nepheline ore deposit in the Murmansk Region began in 2011. VPC will benefit from NWPC's experience with the equipment when constructing mining facilities at the Takitsky area of the Verkhnekamsk potassium-magnesium salt deposit.

MINExpo International is a trade show sponsored by the National Mining Association of the United States and is held every four years. It is the best place for learning about the latest mining and minerals processing technologies and equipment and establishing business contacts for future projects.
