The Russian Federation State Reserves Commission (Rosnedra) has approved the results of a mineral survey completed by Verkhnekamsk Potash Company in accordance with the terms and conditions for subsurface use in 2009-2011 at the Talitsky area of the Verkhnekamsk potassium and magnesium salt deposit. The revaluation increased salt balance reserves 6.53% to 726.1 million tonnes. K₂O reserves increased 8.1% to 163 million tonnes. As a result, the increase in balance reserves was 44.5 million tonnes of mineral salts and 12.3 million tonnes of K₂O. The average commercial component grade of the salts was revised insignificantly to 22.5%.
