In 2012, Alexander Pupov was appointed VPC's chief executive officer. 

In 2000 through 2012, Mr Pupov served in Uralkali as a foreman, supervisor and then director of Berezniki 4 mine group and director of Berezniki 3 group. 

Between 1997 and 2000, Mr Pupov was head of the workshop producing pharmaceutical import-substitutes in INC Leksredstva. 

In 1993 through 1997, Mr Pupov worked for a chemical pharmaceutical company AK Sintvita. 

Alexander Pupov was born in 1969. In 1993, he graduated from the Moscow Mendeleyev Institute of Chemical Technology with a degree in chemical engineering.

Since February 2022, First Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Chief Technology Officer. 

Between 2013 and January 2022, Chief Technology Officer. 

In 1993-2012, he worked at Uralkaliy as foreman, mining site deputy chief, mining site chief, deputy chief engineer for asset management, chief technology officer of BKPRU-2 mine and director of BKPRU-2 mine. 

Mr Makarov was born in 1968. In 1993, he graduated from the Perm State Technical University with a degree in mine surveying. In 2009, he received an MBA degree from the Synergy Business School.
